Feb. 2015, I met my not husband M. My roommate knew him and introduced us. We instantly hit it off and spent the next two hours talking and exchanging numbers. The next week, we went on our first date, then another a few days later, and another a few days after that. 2 1/2 weeks after meeting, we started dating, and then I met his family the following weekend. (Kinda planned, kinda not).
Our First Picture Together
A week of spring break made us anxious in seeing each other. Everyday after for the rest of the semester, we spent several hours together. M moved home, went on a month long vacation, while I stayed and started a new job.
1 1/2 months into dating
After spending a month apart with no phone calls (but over 150 emails back and forth), we were excited to be with each other and celebrate 3 months of dating. We spent the summer driving back and forth every other weekend.
Before his month vacation
The week before school started, he moved back. We started talking about marriage, and within 3 weeks, we were engaged. It was Labor Day, and we had school and work off. We spent the day celebrating 6 months of dating. We got engaged that morning!
The evening we got engaged
We were studying, working, and planning a wedding during fall semester. It was the most stressful, exhausting, exciting, and longest semester yet. We finally made it to Christmas break which included moving, formals, and spending Christmas with my parents before flying back to get married in Utah.
Then Tuesday, January 5th, we were married, for time and eternity!
Our First Dance
Our honeymoon in St. George
I can't believe it's been 6 months now, but it's been an amazing 6 months of learning, growing, laughing, and much more.
