Ever had one of those days where all you want to do is clean and bake? Yep that's what happened to me in the early hours this morning. I was baking a cake for one of the guys upstairs cause it's his birthday today. I thought to myself "I really want to just vacuum the living room, clean the kitchen, mop, clean the bathroom." Why I was thinking this at 1 am this morning I'm not sure. I went to bed instead.
I woke up for my class today and started making a list of things I could accomplish during the day in between my classes. My class got out early making it possible for me to have a 15 min head start. I made the frosting for the cake, washed all the dishes from last nights late night ice cream with roommates and cake dishes. Then I just kept going. I took apart all of the burners of the oven and scrubbed underneath and all the burners, soaked the little metal thingy under the swirly, hot burner.
Now it's time for me to stop, eat, and go to the remainder of my classes. It saddens me cause I just want to finish cleaning. I still have to finish putting the stove back together, but I'm going to wait until everything is nice and dry. I also have to find some time today to do homework...
